Skill development increases employability and ensures employment. It creates a potential workforce leading towards sustainable income and meets the mounting demand for skilled manpower in global economic. It is a powerful tool to empower individuals and improve social acceptability. A skilled person can change the socio-economic perspective of a family and the coming generation. It generates self-confidence, recognition, entrepreneurs and ensures a sustainable livelihood. Trained youth become a catalyst of family and social transformation.

It is not the age that matters but skills. Here skills refer to cognitive skill, life skill and work skills. Ideally, education comprehensively aims to develop the skills of an individual to procure a decent life in the service of humanity. High levels of skills enable to engage in innovation improve the quality of products or services and increase efficiency in production processes and value chain process.

Tribal youths are lowly educated, unskilled and unemployed. It needs to be addressed at the education level of secondary and higher secondary. Because tribals have 67% school dropouts and only 5% continue to university studies. It is a hard fact that 27% tribal society is historically marginalized faces the tragedy of displacement, migration, trafficking and economic backwardness. Skilled tribal youths are only hope in the age of globalization and technological volatility.
